Tue, May 16 10:00am - 11:30am

The Canadian Frailty Network is excited to welcome Dr. Adrienne Young, an award-winning dietician all the way from Australia, to engage the KFL&A community in a conversation about diet and nutrition for older adults!

Join us for Dr. Young’s FREE presentation at 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the fully accessible Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts’ Rehearsal Hall. The Centre is at 390 King St. West, Kingston, which can be accessed by bus routes 3, 501, and 502. The presentation will begin promptly at 10:00 AM.

Dr. Young will give an informative presentation with practical information on healthy diet and nutrition for older adults, with lots of time to answer KFL&A community members’ questions. Be sure to come with questions in mind!

This event is a great opportunity for older adults, friend and family caregivers, and care partners to learn important information about the power of diet and nutrition in aging well. Diet and nutrition are part of CFN’s AVOID Frailty Program for Healthy Aging and are one of the key components to help you maintain or improve your health as you age.

Light refreshments will be served following the presentation. There are prizes, too!

This event is free to attendbut registration is required. It’s open to all members of the KFL&A community, but will be particularly useful for older adults and/or their care partners.
