The RN provides community-based care within preventive screening, smoking cessation, and other preventive health programs for individuals and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In their role, the RN also facilitates virtual consultations by connecting clients with remote specialists, clinics, and programs using platforms such as the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) and other emerging technologies. During these consultations, the RN conducts client assessments using tele-diagnostic equipment.
