Meeting with a Settlement Worker
Our settlement team is here to answer your questions and help you find the resources in your community to make your settlement easier. During our first meeting, we will work with you to gather a full understanding of your needs. Please bring your immigration documents. All information you provide is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared without your permission. We will also give you more detailed information about our services and upcoming programs, workshops, and events in our monthly calendar.
Referrals
We collaborate with a variety of organizations in the community as a way to enhance your experience as a newcomer. We are always happy to refer you to that organization or person on your behalf. Services can include our in-house language assessment services or paid translation services provided by ATIO-certified translators.
Our group information sessions are open to the public and focus on a specific theme or topic related to settlement. Topics may include filing your income taxes, adjusting to winter, and parenting in Canada.
*Please note we are not professional immigration consultants or lawyers. If you require legal advice or representation, we will refer you to the appropriate certified immigration consultant or immigration lawyer.
We serve as a gateway into your community!
