Empowered Relief is a pain management program developed at Stanford University by pain psychologists. It’s a single-session, 2.5-hour workshop that teaches participants pain relief skills using cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT) and mindfulness principles. The program will help you manage your pain and improve your quality of life.
Participants will also learn to identify and challenge negative thought patterns that can exacerbate pain, practice relaxation techniques to manage pain and stress, and develop a personalized plan to address specific challenges.
