KCHC’s Weller Site houses and hosts many teams, programs, groups and events. These include the Weller Clinic, Pathways to Education, Thrive, EarlyON, Early Years, as well as the organization’s Corporate Services team.

The Weller Site is a thriving hub in Kingston’s Rideau Heights neighbourhood, offering care and support to the communities it serves.

Programs and Services at this Location


Primary health care services are available at 263 Weller Ave. We are currently at capacity, but will take on unattached patients who are pregnant (for prenatal care). We are currently unable to take on any other patients, including children under five years of age.

Our Regional Self-Management team offers free community workshops for people who live with chronic conditions, chronic pain, diabetes, and cancer, as well as for caregivers.

A 16-session program where participants examine their own experience of poverty and develop a plan of change for their life. 

Circles Kingston supports people living in poverty toward their self-sufficiency goals by building connections across socio-economic lines. 

We provide oral health services to low-income individuals and families with limited or no access to dental care.

EarlyON Child and Family Centres offer programs for parents and caregivers with children from birth to six years old.

Our registered practical nurse offers foot care to Kingston area residents for significant health problems.

Counselling and therapy services are offered to individuals, couples and families living in Kingston, who are patients, clients, or participants in KCHC programs.

Thrive is for women who are pregnant and/or parenting children under the age of six and have been or currently are substance involved or receiving methadone treatment?

The virtual care program facilitates virtual appointments for patients with an existing specialist or health care provider using secure video conferencing technology.

Bridges Out of Poverty is one-day, virtual workshop that is open to all KCHC staff, including those in management or service-delivery.

Adversity experienced in childhood might be the most important predictor of adult health, social outcomes and well-being. Teach Resilience exists to spread the message and support steps towards stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities.

A community-driven initiative that allows anyone to purchase an assorted basket of fruits and vegetables for less than the cost at the grocery store.

Sexual health appointments are available through KCHC for individuals that currently do not have a family doctor or do not have access to medical service providers.

We are proud to be the site of the Transgender Health Program for the South East region of Ontario. This program is staffed by a full-time Nurse Practitioner and a full-time Social Worker.

Pathways to Education empowers high school youth in North Kingston with tools to succeed in school, work, and life. The Special Events Committee is comprised of community volunteers dedicated to bringing the community together through special outings and events.

Learn to massage your infant and discuss topics like reading infant cues, infant brain development, and stress management.

Our Community Development team meets people where they are at and advocates for their success.

This program offers practical advice, information and referrals, and connects families with children 0-6 to services needed.

School Readiness programs are for children who are not currently attending day care or nursery school and will be attending junior kindergarten the following September.  

Seniors 55+ struggling to make ends meet can receive a free box of fresh produce and dry goods, delivered to their home monthly.

KCHC's team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals offers a wide array of community-based services for those living with chronic lung disease, including but not limited to those living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and complex respiratory care needs.

Our Super Seniors program gives older adults in the community an opportunity to volunteer and connect with their neighbours.
