According to several studies, adversity experienced in childhood might be the most important predictor of adult health, social outcomes and well-being. Our brains, bodies and behaviour bear the impacts of the prolonged, uncontrollable, and extreme stress that is often called trauma. Knowledge is a powerful starting place from which individuals, families and groups can make the shift.

Teach Resilience exists to spread the message and support steps towards stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities. We empower organizations with evidence-based training and consultation around trauma-supportive and resilience-oriented content. Teach Resilience is a social enterprise of KCHC Pathways to Education and sustains our local support work with high school students.
