KCHC is offering a one-day virtual training course that will help service providers develop a deeper understanding of what people experience while living on the poverty line.
The Bridges Out of Poverty workshop explores the hidden rules of different economic classes and helps participants build a better understanding of poverty vs middle-class experiences. They will also learn how to use Bridges’ concepts to develop communication strategies that strengthen relationships with the people they support and challenge their own perspectives. The session will also look at local community resources that support low-income households.
