Join us for a 4-week psychoeducational group about how adverse childhood experiences effects attachment.
Together we will better understand the impact that negative childhood experiences had on you, and build your skills towards healthier coping methods now as an adult.
Early adversity in childhood experiences have lasting impacts including mental health struggles, relationship difficulties, chronic disease, risky behaviour taking, and effects on opportunities in education and occupations.
This 4-week psychoeducational group explores how adverse childhood experiences effects attachment; how we relate to ourselves and others indefinitely unless there is an intervention. It is highly recommended that you have the per-requisite of the 12-week program, Managing Powerful Emotions. To sign up for the MPE, please contact: [email protected]
Due to funding regulations, we can only accept residents in Southeast Ontario. Participants are required to attend all 4 sessions. This workshop series is facilitated by a registered psychotherapist in Ontario.
