The Volunteer Garden Assistant supports the upkeep and maintenance of community gardens across the Kingston area. This role involves hands-on outdoor work such as weeding, watering, and general garden care to help ensure healthy, productive garden spaces for the community.
Volunteers should be able to travel independently to various garden locations, work both on their own and as part of a team, and be comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, contributing to community wellbeing, and supporting local food initiatives.
