Position Summary
The Clinic Assistant is an integral member of the KCHC interprofessional primary health care team. Working closely with Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs), medical secretaries, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and other team members, the Clinic Assistant supports the efficient operation of the clinic through a blend of client-facing, clinical support, and administrative duties.
This role focuses on enhancing client flow, ensuring clinic spaces are clean and prepared, supporting clinicians with administrative and procedural tasks, and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for clients.
The Clinic Assistant contributes to KCHC’s commitment to accessible, high-quality, and client-centered primary health care, with a focus on the social determinants of health, health equity, and trauma informed care.
