Position Summary
The Registered Early Childhood Educator/Early Years Educator, will work in both our EarlyON and School Readiness Programs, it is a blended position. EarlyON programming will be high quality, welcoming, inclusive, integrated, and community led. EarlyON services must be delivered within the context of the Mandatory Core Services: Engaging Parent and Caregivers, Supporting Early Learning and Development, and Making Connections for Families. School Readiness is a licensed program aimed at improving the developmental readiness for children to enter Kindergarten. Both EarlyON and School Readiness programming with be delivered within the context of the Provincial Pedagogical Framework, including How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years, and in accordance with the College of Early Childhood Educators Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
