Cooking Connections is an 8-week workshop series for people living with mental health/substance use disorder. The program explores the different types of stigma participants may face and offers practical strategies to reduce isolation, build confidence, and feel more connected.
Each session pairs Overcoming Stigma discussions with hands-on food literacy workshops, where participants help prepare a shared meal with guidance from a kitchen facilitator and volunteers. Workshops are led by Peer Facilitators—people who have completed the program and received training to support others.
