If you’re simply looking for chlamydia and gonorrhea testing and don’t have any STI symptoms (e.g. discharge, pelvic or testicular pain or sores on your genitals), the Quick Test Clinic might be right for you. Quick tests do not require an appointment with a clinician, you can simply fill out a form and give a sample.
Quick testing is available at Midtown on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 7 p.m., and on Thursdays from 1 to 7 p.m.
No appointment necessary
Please note that Queen’s Student Wellness Services also offers quick testing for STIs. For a list of other sites offering quick testing, visit the KFL&A Public Health website.
Please note that we are part of a multi-site health collective that uses a common electronic medical record system along with Greater Napanee Health Home, Kingston Community Health Centres, rural Kingston Family Health Organizations (Sydenham, Tamworth, Newburgh & Verona clinics) as well as some specialist physician partners with whom we collaborate. If your primary care provider works in any of these clinics they will be notified of your quick test visit at Midtown Kingston Health Home.
