The Living Well with Diabetes Workshop provides information and teaches skills to help manage your diabetes daily, prevent complications, and live healthier. Gain the confidence and motivation to better manage your symptoms and the challenges of living with diabetes.
This FREE workshop is for adults of all ages living with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes as well as their caregivers and family members. Participants meet online in a small group for 2.5 hours, once a week for 6 weeks.
Classes encourage active participation, where mutual support and success build the participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives. The workshop will not conflict with existing programs or treatment and is designed to enhance regular treatment. This is an evidence-based self-management program originally developed at Stanford University and currently supported by the Self-Management Resource Center.
