Join us for our Newcomer English Circle. Whether you're looking to enhance your fluency or expand your vocabulary, our circle provides a dynamic space to practice and grow.

Join us every Monday for Older Adults Day at the Rideau Heights Community Centre. Programs offer a variety of activities to keep you active, connected, and engaged.

This group is open to all newcomer men who wish to meet to practice English while focusing on a selected topic of interest.

Expecting a little one? We're now offering prenatal classes to help get you the support and information you need to prepare for this exciting journey!

Fun & Friendly Crafts is a drop-in craft group for area adults. New participants are welcome and can bring their craft supplies or use the provided ones. Members work in various art forms, including beadwork, looming, scrapbooking and cross-stitching.

As the result of client feedback and in conjunction with our current Health Literacy program for providers, the “Getting the most from your healthcare appointment” workshop was developed for the public. This 1.5-hour interactive workshop focuses on what to do before, during and after an appointment and uses action planning to optimize people’s health.

This group is for youth 13 and up to get involved in social activities and learn more about life in Canada.

Explore your neighbourhood like never before! This group is free and open to all ages. Poles provided & can be borrowed between sessions. Participants must be assessed by our physiotherapist on staff prior to the first class.

The Good Food Box (GFB) Kingston, is a non-profit fresh vegetables and fruit distribution program. For over 20 years, the GFB has been providing monthly access to fresh produce boxes through community host sites, with the mission of increasing accessibility to fresh produce in the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington area.

Join us for our Intermediate English Circle, where we dive into Content-Based Learning (CBL) tailored for levels 3 to 5.

This drop-in social group is held on Thursdays for individuals over the age of 55. Play games, participate in crafting, learn from guest speakers, meet new people and make lasting friendships. Refreshments provided.

Baby Care Basics is a drop-in group that provides collaborative education about infant care for newborns under 6 months old, including feeding, skincare and treating common illness. Enjoy conversing with other caregivers and parents as well as learning tips and tricks from our expert nurses and dietitians. Transportation and snacks are available.

Our meetups for newcomer women are the perfect opportunity to make friends, share experiences, and support each other.

Midtown Kingston Health Home and Kingston Health Sciences Centres’ Breast Imaging Kingston are thrilled to announce a one-day breast screening event. Our Preventive Care Nurse Specialist will be on-site to provide support, answer questions, and see if you may benefit from other health screening as well.
